Director-Choreographer, Creative Producer, Educator
Quentin Madia is a DC and NY/NJ–based generative director, producer, and multidisciplinary theatre artist. He has served in a wide range of leadership roles, including Director, Executive Producer, and Production Manager, and is the CEO and Artistic Director of Exequtive Entertainment, LLC. Quentin is an Associate Member of SDC, a member of the 2024 Director Lab West Cohort, and a Dramatists Guild member. He is also the former Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Dare Tactic.

Quentin’s work spans documentary musical theatre, musical comedy, dance, and new work development. He is drawn to stories that illuminate untold or forgotten histories, amplify silenced voices, and explore the complexity of human connection. His artistic interests frequently engage with themes of loss, mortality, coming of age, and rebuilding in the aftermath of tragedy. Quentin has created many works including The Picher Project, Trust the Process, Alice in Wonderland, Employee of the Month, and many others. Quentin is currently writing a new mini-series inspired by the death of a pop star, and a theatre series about the Great Lakes.

An arts administrator and educator, Quentin currently teaches theatre at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, where he runs the Sidwell Stage Theatre Program. He has previously taught at institutions including The College of New Jersey, The Dalton School, The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, and Mott Haven Academy, and has worked with programs such as Broadway Workshop (NYC) and Young Artists of America (DC). He previously worked at organizations such as The Drama League and Dixon Place.

Quentin’s work has been presented at venues including Feinstein’s/54 Below, Symphony Space, The Drama League, HERE Arts Center, Theatre Row, Green Room 42, Walker Space, Wild Project, and McCarter Theatre, as well as universities and theatres across New Jersey and throughout the U.S. He also served as Artistic Director of New Jersey Repertory Theatre in South Brunswick for ten years, an organization dedicated to accessible, youth-centered theatre education guided by the philosophy: theatre for the kids, by the kids
