Quentin Madia is a NY/NJ based generative director, producer, and multidisciplinary theatre artist. Wearing many hats, Quentin has served in various roles as Production Manager, Director, Executive Producer, and more. Quentin is the CEO and Artistic Director of commercial producing entity Exequtive Entertainment, LLCFormally, Quentin was the Executive Director/Co-Founder of The Dare Tactic

 

When creating work, Quentin specializes in documentary musical theatre, musical comedy, dance, and new work development. He creates and directs work that tells untold and forgotten historical stories, exposes the truth behind silenced voices, and showcases unique relationships in human connection. Quentin is inspired by the themes of loss and death, what it means to grow up, and how to rebuild after tragedy. Quentin is an Associate Member of SDC.

 

When not in the rehearsal room, Quentin is an arts administrator and educator. Quentin has taught at The College of New Jersey, Mott Haven Academy, The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, The Dalton School, and more. Additionally, Quentin has worked for Young Artists of America based in D.C. 

Quentin's work has been seen at Feinstein's/54 Below, Symphony Space, Green Room 42, Walker Space, Dixon Place, The Drama League, Wild Project, WOW Café, Shapeshifter Lab, Theatre Row, HERE Arts Center, The Duo, Pace University, and throughout New Jersey including McCarter Theatre, The College of New Jersey, Exit 82 Theatre, Stevens Institute of Technology, Porchlight Productions, Villagers Theatre, and South Brunswick School District. Quentin's work has been seen in Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Florida, and more.

 

Additionally, Quentin  served Artistic Director of New Jersey Repertory Theatre in South Brunswick, NJ for 10 years. "NJRT" offers a broad theatre education to the youth in the community, providing a safe learning space with numerous opportunities for a diverse population of kids and teens at a low cost. Our philosophy is: theatre for the kids, by the kids.
